Role Description

The Loan Documentation & Processing Analyst 1 role at Citi is a trainee-level professional position that involves managing loan documentation, processing, and collateral management. The individual will perform assigned tasks following established processes and demonstrate accountability and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

1. Loan Documentation:
   • Prepare and review loan documentation.
   • Independently process and close loans in a complex loan operations environment.
2. Collateral Management:
   • Manage day-to-day collateral activities such as booking cash transactions and payments.
   • Input general ledger entries and perform complex calculations.
3. Problem Resolution:
   • Investigate and resolve issues related to loan documentation and processing.
   • Recommend process improvements to management.
4. Risk and Control:
   • Minimize risk by adhering to procedural requirements and audit policies.
   • Monitor errors and suggest process enhancements.
5. Customer Interaction:
   • Directly interact with external customers to explain and disseminate information.
6. Report Analysis:
   • Design and analyze moderately complex reports for management requirements and process improvements.

Qualifications

1. Education:
   • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
2. Experience:
   • 0-2 years in loan processes or similar fields.
3. Skills:
   • Basic knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools related to loan documentation.
   • Ability to manage, prepare, and review loan documentation.
   • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
4. Compliance:
   • Awareness of various risks, policies, and control measures.
   • Ability to comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
